Community Involvement and Service Programs
This cluster of programs facilitates the involvement of faculty, staff, and students in the various communities of Cagayan de Oro City. It endeavors the youth’s social responsibility, and seek to enhance student leadership in involving in, and responding to social concerns while promoting high regard of education as a tool towards effective student involvement and commitment to a life of service. The components under the Community Involvement and Service Program include the Social Formation and Advocacy Program (SFAP), National Service Training Program-Civic Welfare and Training Service/Literacy Training Service (CWTS/LTS), First-year Formation Program (FFP), and the Pedro Calungsod Partnership for Effective Assistance for Children’s Education (PEACE) Project.
Organizational Development Program
This is an in-house program that caters to the enhancement of the holistic capability of the staff to carry out KKP’s role in the university.
This program aims also to increase KKP’s efficiency in providing social formation by ensuring focused efforts towards effective dialogue between the curriculum and the community through publication of program implementation insights and other relevant materials.
